In April 2021, after spending months locked up because of the pandemic, Kyriakos Kallenos and Stephan Busch decided to gather together and thought of promoting Cypriot beef, believing that this was very much unappreciated and frowned upon.
As luck would have it, Kyriakos has a cow farm in Dali and Stephan is a chef. So, they launched The Agery! Designed to dry-age Cypriot beef, creating a spectacular and delicious to-eat beef. Its aim is to provide dry-aged beef both to businesses and consumer households.


Our own way
of doing things.
The Agery deals with dry-aged beef, but it took a few weeks to get it working and the meat sampling. Stephan did a few tests, inviting people and friends to taste test the delicious meat dishes which he prepared. From these modest dinners, the idea of the restaurant started to form.
So, the search started for the right venue for their restaurant. As luck would have it, the building in Mesa Gitonia 10, in Limassol, became available, and then The Porterhouse & Co. took shape and was born. They wanted something unique with a small diverse menu, which highlighted their excitement for Cypriot dry-aged beef and Cypriot products. Everything is made in the premises, from delicious starters to gorgeous cuts of beef, to the wonderful deserts.
The Porterhouse & Co. vision is to provide a one-of-a-kind experience, with its relaxed environment and mouth-watering dry-aged steaks at an affordable price that everyone can enjoy.
